Rules & field guide
The rules every TRENCHIO round is played by.
Updated 16 October 2026
Who can play
- You must be 18 or older.
- Play as a guest (no wallet needed) or sign in with your wallet: a short signed message that costs nothing and moves no funds. Guests play the Free room, the Training Range and the USDG rooms they pay for. The Token room needs a wallet sign-in. Guests stay off the leaderboards and earn no points or trading-fee prizes.
- One wallet per connection. The first wallet to sign in from an internet connection keeps it, and another wallet from the same connection is refused. One player per connection takes part in each round.
- One place at a time. You can be queued or playing in only one room.
- Your nickname, or your shortened wallet address (a guest's Guest name), is your public callsign.
The rooms
- Free room. No entry fee. The winner earns 1,000 practice points.
- Token room. Sign in with your wallet and pay the game-coin entry shown in the lobby. The entry coins are burned once the round is final. The prize comes from the game token's trading fees: 70% of the fee pool goes to the round's eligible winner, 10% to the TRENCHIO treasury, and 20% stays in the pool for the next rounds. The lobby shows the current prize; it isn't fixed or guaranteed.
- USDG rooms (10, 100 and 300 USDG). Everyone pays the same entry in USDG on Robinhood Chain, and the eligible winner takes the whole pot of that round's paid entries. The lobby shows which rooms are open.
- Training Range. Free practice with every gun on the racks and dummies to shoot. Nothing there counts toward stats or prizes.
Paying an entry
- Pay from a wallet on Robinhood Chain. In the USDG rooms, where the game offers it, you can also pay with coins from another chain: sign in with your email to get a Privy wallet, then fill it with coins such as USDC or ETH sent from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon. Only the coins Privy can turn into USDG at that moment are offered. There are no card payments.
- Exactly the entry amount goes into the round. Anything more stays in your Privy wallet, yours to use or withdraw. Network fees are separate from the entry.
- A payment request holds your seat for 5 minutes. A signature or an approval alone doesn't mean you've joined: wait for the game to confirm your payment, and never pay twice for one request.
- You can leave a paid seat, with a refund, only while you're the only player in the round (the round is then cancelled). A paid round that doesn't reach 10 players within 30 minutes of its first entry is cancelled, and every entry is refunded.
- Refunds always go back to the wallet that paid.
How a round works
- Every match is solo, with 10 to 25 players. At 10 registered players an 80-second countdown starts and registration stays open. A full room of 25 starts at once. If the queue drops below 10 before the start, it goes back to waiting.
- Loot weapons, ammunition, armor and supplies as you go. A closing gas zone ends the battle in about 8 to 9 minutes.
- The last player alive wins. Kills, damage and score record how you played; they never replace the win.
- Disconnecting doesn't protect you. For 30 seconds after a disconnect, your character stays where it is and can still be hit. Reconnect in time to carry on; otherwise you're eliminated.
- Spectators and the public feed see the battle 15 seconds late, and never your inventory.
Score, points and stats
- Score: placement points (100 for first, 70 for second, 50 for third, down to 1) plus 10 for each elimination. Ties in the rankings go to placement, then damage dealt, then who registered first.
- Practice points: each round's eligible winner signed in with a wallet gets 1,000. They're separate from your score.
- Wallet players get a public stats page for the Token and USDG rooms: wins, best place, win streak, favourite weapon, kills, and what they spent and won.
Practice points have no monetary value. They are not redeemable and are not promised to convert into tokens.
Review, results and payouts
- Results are provisional at first. A round where nobody reported anyone is final 60 seconds after it ends. A round with a report is reviewed for 15 minutes. When 3 or more players report the same player, the round is locked until an admin decides.
- Disqualifications happen only during that review. A disqualified or ineligible winner gets nothing, and the prize doesn't pass to second place: in a USDG room every entry is refunded, and in the Token room the whole pool carries over to the next round.
- A USDG pot is paid to the winner's wallet once the result is final. A guest winner chooses where its pot goes (any EVM address), signed by the wallet that paid its entry. It can change that choice while the result is under review. With no choice in the time the menu shows (a day by default), the pot goes to the wallet that paid.
- The Token room's prize is paid to the winner's signed-in wallet once the result is final.
- A winner whose payouts are under review waits for the decision. Blockchain confirmations can take a little longer.
Fair play
- Not allowed: cheating and aim assistance, input automation, exploiting bugs, teaming or colluding with other players, kill farming, more than one account or entry, playing for someone else, and payment fraud.
- Breaking a rule can mean disqualification, held or forfeited winnings, and a ban. A ban also reaches the wallets that paid for that player's entries.
- Report a player from the game. You get a case number, and you can open your case on the TRENCHIO Discord. Nobody from TRENCHIO will ever ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
Controls
The default keys; you can change them in Settings.

Changes
Rules, prices and balancing can change while the game is tested. The lobby shows the price and terms for each round, and a payment is tied to the rules of the round it was made for.
